Bernardine Center staff, with guidance and many hours of labor by our master gardener, Chuck, plant, oversee, and harvest organically grown vegetables that are given to our food center families and used in preparation of some of the meals for our Westside Brunch.

Interested in trying your “green thumb” skills in a garden but have no space or maybe not much successful experience?

Perhaps you’d like to rent one of our 8 X 12 raised garden beds to grow your favorite veggies in the 2017 season? Cost of a bed for the growing season is $30.00. Chuck, our Master Gardener, is very willing to provide guidance as needed.
